florals › Summer Distraction 16x16

Summer Distraction 16x16

$380.00
sold out

-20×20 inch, framed original acrylic painting on canvas

-Can be hung in various orientations (scroll for 90* rotation)

In a season of excitement, stronger faith, and renewed trust, the colors depict where my heart is resting. I have a lot of hope as I’m coming out of a dark season, and the freedom I’ve felt come to life in this series.

I am an incredibly structured and A-type personality, and my perfectionism has been a limiting factor my entire life. My art has served as therapy. For the last seven years, I've been on a journey to embrace imperfection through abstract and "uncontrolled" painting. As I've grown and healed, I have found myself feeling free to bring structure back into my work. This piece is part of a new style I'm experimenting with through a series of "graphic" looking florals.

This specific color palette is inspired by Spring to Summer Excitement.
